Call a business Broker

Best to call a business broker for a free consultation. Most the guys here will tell you they are not worth anything. I think they are worth between 2-6 gross sales. Depending how motivated you are to sell. In my area people buy businesses all the time to have a "jump start" in the business. They need income and are buying an income stream.

Pool company's sell for about 6-12 months gross sales. I think lawn company's sell for less because they are 1 by cut price, 2 need more equipment, 3 harder to operate.

You can put an add in the newspaper under business opportunities

here is an example of lawn biz's for sale in my area

I know this is lawnsite, but i want to give an example of how businesses are sold. Most guys here don't believe they can sell their business. 1st your business is an ASSET if it makes money for you on a regular basis. People like to buy assets.

Oh by the way, business brokers make their living by selling businesses like these. Isn't that interesting. Some guys think their business is not worth anything and others make a nice living just on the commission of the sale of the business

Sounds like a nice route, and the 2 year contracts sound even better. Unlike some of the other guys on here it SOUNDS like you have something worth a little $$$. Are you selling the equipment too?

I think the big problem you are gonna have is the free 5 step fertilization you give out for $25.00 per cut. I could be wrong though.
