Yea they seem to have time for all these other laws to be passed, but can't seem to get a grip on the REAL issues-tax relief, social security, unemployment, the list goes on. Unbelievable.

I totally agree with companies being legit and knowelgable. I just don't no if I necessarily agree with lic. and permits for every little thing that you do. In addition, I do not know about a four year degree to cut down a tree. Let's face it all these degrees and licenses and permits that we pay for does not translate into more $$$ for us. The more expenses go up the more our profit goes down, because lets face it you can only raise your prices so much and still be competitive.

They would grandfather alot of them in I would hope. I'm in favor of some permits mostly to weed out part timers without insurance but a college degree?? I know plenty of dummies that went to school and have no common brain.

I'm originally from upstate ny, every time i hear of something like this it makes me glad i'm not there anymore. About the only thing you need here is chemical license if you want to do applications, otherwise pretty much anything goes. oh yeah, the cutting season is about 38 weeks too, not counting cleanups.
