Need an Idea of what a cat skid cost-- fast!!

2002 cat 252 skid with Hi-low & Aux. 480 hrs and a bucket -Tires are about 50%-60 good. Rest of machine is clean and the guys got the service records
I need to put $$$$ in the morning if I want it, because of another potential buyer. I want it but would like some opinions of what others thinks its worth before I say what the guys asking.

Guys asking 17K he might drop another $500

Even at 17K I think its a real good deal for the machine but need some cat owners to jump in with some opinions

Go to Iron Planet. You can check what others have gone through at auction. 17K is not that great of a deal, although perhaps close to actual value. Ok I did it for you. Without looking at hours or condition they have gone from 12 to 18K.
