Replacement tracks for Cat 277
Would anyone happen to know of a source for replacement tracks for a 277 skid-steer? Cat dealer wants $3K w/no reach-around.
Thanks in advance. |

At this time you may be SOL. Yokohama is making replacement tracks for steel belted rigid frame machines and excavators, and we are running a proto type set of retread tracks for a manufacturer on a 257B right now, other than that, help is just around the corner.
If I read your post right, is that 3K for a set???? Or each? for both that's a good price.

The down side to ASV tracks KSSS. But, I am running the retread prototypes, so, help is on the way.
What I would love to do is find an older 257, and convert the roller drive to a gear. Then tweek the under carraige and make steel tracks with grousers. That would be a fun toy indeed!
