Sprout on Bradford Pear tree?, need ID...
Anyone ever seen this growing out of a Bradford Pear?.......Referring to the lighter color leaves in the picture. Those leaves sprouted and were highly visible since around Christmas, while the entire tree was in dormancy. The leaves are about half-dollar size, lighter in color, and are not shaped like bradford leaves.
Any Ideas? ![]()

Pictures don't seem to be coming up. If these are sprouting from the base of the tree, they're coming from the rootstock. Cut them off at ground level or deeper if you can, this may become an annual routine, maybe more often.
