Walker model B SD deck any good?

Just wondering who has used this new model. Does the walker side discharge cut ok in wet grass? clumps? Does 18hp have enough power? Any input would be appreciated.

I demoed one last Aug at dealers field day. I was considering one w 56" deck.

Price 6200. I've seen the 48 cut high grass. Will try to get a demo when grass
is growing. I have an Mt-20. I like the size and the controls. The 18 is to keep cost down. Also the deck is gear driven which uses less hp than belt
drive. Ed

Kinda curious why you would pay big bucks for a Walker to side discharge?

They run around 6,000 dollars. The property that I'm going to be mowing is about 5 acres of rolling hills. Walker is about the most scalp proof mower out there. The decks just seem to float. I own toro, scag and walker so I can speak from experience on this one. I just feel it will give me better results for this particular application.

I agree the mb is smaller and lighter than a MT20. I would get the better seat

for your job. I had thought about replacing my Scag Sthm with an Mb.Ed
