Scag People...

Got a question, was at the Scag dealer today, guy told me they are getting rid of the 05's cheap. Its a 61" Wildcat with a 25 horse Kawasaki. Said he'd let it go for $7800. It is brand new, wanted to see if everyone thought this was a good deal or not? Need something that's quick, efficient, and will still stripe well. We Use Cub Tank's currently. Any opinions????

Sounds like a good deal. By my fema trailer the dealer sells tiger cubs for 7000. I think the wildcat goes for 8500 or 9000?

Last year I checked and I think my dealer was 8100 for a wild cat and 8600 was a turf tiger. Sounds just a tad high but I havent checked prices in 11 months now.

My Scag dealer had a Wildcat with a 25 Kawasaki and a 61. He sold it for $7000, because he couldn't move it. He mainly sells the Tiger Cubs, Turf Tigers and fixed deck hydro Walkbehinds.

We had two Tiger Cub, we just sold one and are going to pickup a Turf Tiger tomorrow. We are getting the 52 with the 27 Kohler, the 61 is a little large for our properties (we demoed a 61). I would look at Turf Tiger especially if you are getting a 61. It has a wider wheel base, stronger frame, larger pumps, and a larger fuel. I have a Tiger Cub (Wildcat uses same frame) and have used a Turf Tiger so I am speaking from experience. The Turf Tiger is alot more stable when mowing hill than the Cub because of the wider wheel base and lower center of gravity.
