Price to seed a new lawn??? by sqft

is there a rule of thumb price to apply grass seed in the mass area. price per sq foot????????? any help would be great

I don't know about the mass area. But here in the KY area it goes for anywhere from 70.00 per 1000 to 100 per 1000. depends on what all you have to do.....

in tennessee we get around 6 cents if we are lucky and want more than one job

i get 10 cents a square foot and have been told by other contractors in the area that its a good price.

and thats to put down seed, starting fertilizer, and shredded straw, with very minor prep raking. just once or twice over the soil with a york rake to loosen for seed sewing.

We are at .10 appr that includes aerating 4 times seed, fert, roll 4 times, top dressing is an additional .07 cents per foot
