Does anybody use just the ipod-style earbuds when running mowers and trimmers? I know it would be better than nothing, but I'm afraid it may not be enough.

I wear the muff type when mowing and put the buds under the muffs. my freind try sitting on the z with those in, you cant hear $h!t unless you have the muffs
