Need a riding slice seeder
Who makes a good riding slice seeder?
The slice seeders available at lawn supply stores or tool rental places are those little Blue Birds. I'm working with customers that have 2 and 3 acres. I need a good sit-down seeder. Who makes one and where can I find it? Bill |

A dedicated ride on unit for slice seeding would problably be cost prohibitive. Most people use a compact tractor with a 3 point hitch mounted seeder. Most of the time this set up is available at a rental store or through an equipment dealership. The tractor is like a swiss army knife with all that can be attached to it.

We rent a small tractor with a 3 point slice seeder on the bigger jobs. I hear bobcat now has one as an attachment now.

The only people that I know that have that type of equipment is athletic field managers and some municipalities. Thats some heavy gear there my friend.
