(Mine is diamond tread steel, no good way to SAND it.) On the sides, we had just built them out of 16 ga. sheet metal and angle iron. The sheet metal was NEW. I was worried at the time weather or not I had prepped the surface good enough... I used denatured alcohol to de-oil everything and used the wire cup wheel on the sheet metal as well. I could see the tiny scratches it left on the surface but they were too small to even feel with my fingertips.

I don't have access to a sand blaster, nor was I going to fool around trying to go to a paint shop and PAY someone to blast them. Looks like I messed up and should have done that... I always get in a hurry (combination of NO patience and A.D.D. lol) I had the time but I was already 6 weekends into the dump bed project and I was wanting it DONE.

Well I sanded down the back of the dump. Took off a little paint and left it looking dull and glossy. "Scuff sand all painted surfaces to dull glossy areas"
So hopefully this will work!

Then I cleaned out all the dust and used a de-greaser spray which cleans grease, dirt, oil, etc. Let that soak in, then sprayed it down with the hose for about 10 minutes. Towl dried it and now it's too later to start the liner!

I'll be so pissed if this stuff doesn't work.

Cost around 6000 installed

Good Lord Man....Yes it is a clean truck but I do not understand why you are so mezmorized by it. I have seen 1,000,001 trucks just like this.

HAHAHAHAHAHA because I'm 20 years old and I paid CASH for it! And because a year and half ago I was pulling my trailer with a jeep. Hence, Bigjeeping. Now I've got 2 nice trucks, paid in full, titles in hand. You have no idea how good it feels.

lol... maybe when you get bigger and figure out what the hell you are doing you will understand. Dumps are bad to the bone. Maybe I am just biased b/c I just got a dump kit put on my 12 ft flatbed. I can still remember all the cussing that went on when unloading a truck or trailer last year. Now I don't even have to get out of the cab... just flip a switch!

bigjeeping,
You gonna logo it? Got any pics w/ simulators? How much was just the dump body?
