Working with a flat property
I'm going to be totally redoing the landscaping at my house this spring and I'm stumped. My property is completely flat so it's hard to get creative and still keep a somewhat natural look to it all. I'm not about squared off, symetrical cheap looking landscape, I like large swoopy outlines, rock, variety in plants, I don't want to say natural but that somewhat fits what I like.
What do you all do to make a flat property work? I'll post pictures tomorrow of the yard so you can see and maybe give suggetions. I really want to incorperate a retaining wall somewhere but it wouldn't work. I also am not a fan of just tossing a mounded bed out in the middle of the yard, it would look out of place to me, so I'm at a stand still.

A friend asked me one Sunday at 6pm why I wasn't working, he said "I thought all you lawn guys work 7 days a week sun up-sun down", my instant response. "I charge enough so I actually make money and don't have to work 90 hours a week " |
