Wondering about my FS 110 R Trimmer...

The whole unit is vibrating more than normal as the engine is coughing at little or missing at high idle...perhaps it's the spark plug, but before I change it what else could cause this?...What are the symptoms of the valves needing their one time adjustment, if any at all...thanks...

Change spark plug, air and fuel filter. You can adjust the valves as well although you do not have to until 100 hours of operation. High idle? Is this perhaps the clutch shoe starting to grab and disengage?
