Question Z-Rider's bagger for fall clean-up's

I'm wondering if the ultra-vac system on the EX-Mark Lazer-Z is worth buying for a primary way of removing leaves? For the price it cost , I could buy another 11h.p blower. It would be alot easer on my rider! If anyone could let me know of your experience it would help me out. Thanks

I have the ultra vac for mine. I used it all last fall and this spring for leaves and cleanups. Its great. Money well spent and very easy to take on and off. No tools and 10 seconds. The bags are very easy to empty due to the taper design. Wet, packed grass and leaves are no problem.

I use a Exmark Lazer 60" with a Peco Vac

www.lawnvac.com

They run about $2000 and well worth the money. Make sure you get the Kohler instead of the Briggs

You can dump from the seat and hold a lot of leaves. Unlike the others this one will mulch the leaves more and will pack them in till full

I have the Ultra vac on my Lazer. It works great and was worth every penny!! I ran a Lazer w/ the Peco vac and feel it doesn't work as well as the Ultra vac. Also don't have an extra engine, fuel, engine repairs or maintenance to worry about w/ the Ultra vac. You only have one drive belt & one grease fitting on the Ultra vac. ED

My ultra vac works great. Same as EJK2352 and 65hoss. I think I paid $1650. Bags are easy to lift and dump in the bed of the truck. Holds a ton of grass.

One thing I should mention to you about getting a bagger unit for a ZTR is this. Try to find the one that adds the least amount of hieght onto your machine. If the machine is too tall with the bagger there it prevents you from getting under certain things, and does damage if you forget it is there. I personally like for my head to be the tallest thing on that machine.

I have the ultra vac also. Best thing I ever bought. It works great for leaves and I use it all year to bag grass if I have to. Like the other guys said, very little maintenance and packs a lot of grass or leaves. I'm very happy with mine, only thing I carry extra for it is belts.
