Why no replies?
...because it is a ridiculous question. lets just start with your overhead ..how much is your advertising, interest and bank charges, down time, your labor burden downtime, office supplies, rent, tax's telephone, radios uniforms etc etc!! Think its the same as ours? estimate your own job ...cost your materials , labor & equipment ... how about general conditions ...should I estimate the job on drivng 4 days to get there or are you 5 minutes away? Never let your competition bid your work. Your costs are your costs... you may decide to take a lower profit but your costs will never change. What might get some responses .. ...how long using abc type of equipment with easy access would it take to rip out x amount of old sod ...add x amount of soil and relay new sod. |

Cool million sounds good to me. Then retire, go on a nice vacation to Austraila for a couple weeks, buy a new truck, then in a month when you get board start up a LCO because it feels like the right thing to do.
