if you don't call me, i'm cancelling....

yup, let the games begin. i went to do an estimate for maint. i spent entirely too long with her, talking about everything under the sun. well, we agreed on a service + price, and i told her i'd send out a service agreement. well, i sent it, but she had a question on exactly when we'd be starting. i told my wife to call and tell her we'd start this week. she called back, " i talked to bob when i got the estimate, and i want to talk to bob when i need a question answered. i got the contract, but, i want bob to call me, not a stranger who i never met." how do you proceed from here?

hmmm, thats a great question!

Heres what I would do:

1) Pick up phone
2) Dial number
3) Ask for customer
4) Answer questions
5) Hang up phone

Let me know how it turns out.

Charge her a phone consultation. Tell her that if your secretary can not take care of simple matters that you will have to charge her extra for the extra time that you have to spend with her.

Yup, that pretty much sums it up...

She is probably an older customer, who is looking for what she calls customer service.
Last test before signing your contract...
