Hemmoroidal transformers

Are the claims bonafide regarding their superiority to traditional transformers or just marketing hype to gain a competitive edge?

I would think if the transformer was warrantied for life that the the only benefit or savings would be to the homeowner for efficiency at the meter. Watts is watts. What do others think?

The best transformers I have seen to date are the CAST Brand Transformers. Beastly, reliable, and easy to service. Anyone who uses them or has used them know. Check them out @ Cast-Lighting.com.

Good Luck!

I don't understand why some people think that a fuse is better than a breaker. If it were better, don't you think that we would still have fuses in our homes?

I was kidding about the fuses. It's as old fashioned as the owner of Nightscaping. Time has certainly passed the company by. Dinosaurs are the word around here.

Anybody have a mdl transformer near by? Load up one breaker and tell me at what amperage did it trip from overload. I bet its 30-32 amps. Do I smell Fire?
A fustat is a readable saftey fuse. I can tell if its overloaded or shorted. Very safe. The safest.
