BR600 issues? anybody else haveing trouble with these?

i cant keep any of these blowers running. we have 6 blowers, and 4 of them have had to go in and be warrantied. The crank bearings and seals have gone on every one of them. I was told stihl figured out the metal in the motors werent strong enough or something and have come up with a fix for it. these blowers have spent more time in the shop then anything. the static straps inside the tubes keep coming out of the holders as well. i was amazed by the power of them, but the longevity on these things suck. the rubber caps on the bottom for shock absorption keep popping off as well. anybody else having these issues?

Matt,
I only have one(new) BR 600 at this time and only about 35 to 40 tanks of fuel thru it this month but have not had one problem with it so far. Easy starting and almost always on the first pull.I think Stihl will stand behind their product and get you set right.

These companies are rushing the products into the field. Stihl has a good unit in the BR420 ....we got 2 new ones and passed on the new unit. I was afraid of that wire deal, can't take tubes off for close work and now I guess there are other problems with it. That seal problem ought to be easy to fix.

Bought one last fall used it for fall clean ups and spring clean ups no problems. Did lose one of the bumpers by the tank, dealer gave me a new one, easy fix. Only beef I have is the design of the fuel filter in the tank, you pretty much have to fill the tank anytime it gets to around a third of a tank because the filter cant't suck up any gas. Also changing the gas filter is a major production, can't take it out of the filler tube, pretty much have to almost take the blower apart. But these things aside it is still one hell of a blower.
