Michigan Renovators

Has anyone noticed in michigan that overseeds, rennovates, that the seed is taking a long time to gerninate? Im thinking its been a very cold april so its slow to start. My rennovations with topdressing ussally germinate in 3-5 days with the perenial ryes and 10 days on the fescues. But this month the germination is more like 10 days to 2 weeks on the ryes. Still early maybe with the night frosts and all. Any one having same luck althought it be bad luck? Wierd thing is we started a week earlier this year cutting.
