New and have q's

I'm thinking of getting into the sealing buis. Never really don't it commercialy. Picked up a 500 gallon tank and trailer. Home made gig, power agitator 5hp motor, and power pump 5hp I think.
What I was wondering is how to mix.
When to use sand.
Striping, how and whats the easiest way.
Where to get product, Tar, tips, hoses, wands, etc.
The pricing on product Tar.
What to charge.

Thank you very much in advance

Sorry for all of the questions and I hope the newbie didn't make anyone angry. Just looking for info.

Get your sealer, agitate and mix it while adding water (25-30% usually) add additives if you are using them diluted 50/50 with water, keep mixing, let mix for a while, slowly add sand while its mixing. Make sure sand is 100% dry so that it can absorb as much sealer as possible.

charge what you want to make a profit for yourself and to be competitive. 8-10C for commercial, 12-20c a square foot for residential. $1.00+ per foot for hot crack sealing unless its a big commercial job or small cracks.

always use sand, 3-5lbs per gallon is optimum.

find a local supplier for sealer. expect to pay 1.50-1.75 per gallon.

striping will cost you around $3,000-6,000 for a professional graco line lazer or similar line machine.

If you're not going to get too big and aren't dong massive parking lots or city roads, you can buy a 100 dollar line machine that sprays the lines on, or do it the REAL cheap way and put down wood and roll it on. But those machines are pretty expensive and there's a lot of other stuff you could invest in for your business before buying a 3k+ line machine.

Unless of course you're getting a lot of big parking lots, then you may want to invest in the line machine or just contract the lines out to somebody and make 1 dollar a line or something. Lines aren't too fun, at least not in my opinion, I'd much rather seal all day than paint lines.

Hey Chicago - wish you were in Va - I would gladly do all of your striping!
Hey Firelwn - do yourself a favor and don,t make a good sealcoat job look like crap because you skimped and did the striping on the cheap! Those white lawns really stand out on that new black sealcoat and I've seen more than a few where the striping made the whole job look bad. If you can't afford a striper right away then contract it out to someone who can do a professional job til you can. Also...check out e-bay for stripers - they have some at times. Try to stay airless - Graco or Titan and don't go with air sprayers.
