Jap Maple "bloodgood" still dormant?
WHy is one of my customers bloodgood maple still dormant.? looks like a stick? a few buds on the branches, its alive.... but no leaves. I installed last fall (early)_ and went fine until 2 weeks ago the customer called to ask if it was ok.. i went and looked, seems fine , few buds... So i said give it a couple weeks. Now she said its no better than it was 2 weeks ago? What gives.

not heard of boosting.....do you mean with bio-plex?
sounds like it never got watered in the fall....was it a potted tree or b&b?

Yeah ive got the same problem with some Styrax Japonicus (Japanese Snowbells) that still look like theyve been just coming out of dormancy since early April. But 10 others that are in full bloom right now.
