EX-Mark Metra 26

Recently purchases EX-Mark Metra 26 inch mower. Used it as a mulcher and it does not perform well. It leaves a strip of cut grass on the left side of the mower. Unless you go over the lawn twice, you get a strip of dead grass which doesn't look very well. I finally took it back and purchased a 33 inch Billy Goat, which performs excellently. The Billy Goat is a great lawn-mower. So take it from me, if you intend to mulch, stay away from the Metra 26 inch mower. They shouldn't't advertise this mower to be a mulcher, since it does such a terrible job. I wish some-one had for-warned me on this, I never would have purchased it in the first place. Live and learn.

Ther have been many posts here about what a bad machine the Exmark 26 is. However, I see you are new here, so unfortunatly you had to learn the hard way. Glad you found a good replacement for it. I hope your dealer treated you right on the trade.
