Sweepers

I was wondering if any one does
any parking lot sweeping as part
of side jobs. I was thinking of
looking into getting one of the
tow behinds the kind that some of
the towns use to clean up after winter.
Was wondering who makes these and what is
a ball park figure for one?
It seems like not many people do it around
here, and someone asked me if I did or if
I knew anybody who did. It may be a decent
side business.
Thanks for any information
Jim

Check out

Sweepersonline.com or americansweeper.com or something along those lines. They have a lot of great info on sweeping. I would try to help you but I don't know much about the tow behind sweepers your speaking of. We run Tymco's non stop for our flightline and on the base streets. They work very well, its just a lot (and high $$) regualr maintenance and adjusting.

Good Luck, let us know how you make out!

One more thing...

Try posting this in the heavy equipment and pavements forum at www.plowsite.com. There are a lot more people that will see it there that are in the construction side of the industry.
