I don't know of any places to dump over here. I am sure there are some, but I dump on private property. Sorry, I wish I could be of some help. If you get any answers, I would be interested in hearing about them, my places are a little bit of a drive.

I have been using St. Louis composting in Valley park, on Old Elam (just north of 44). They have been charging me $20. to $40. depending on how full my standard truck bed is.
I do not think this is cheap, and they are not always consistent pricing dumping. They are great for purchasing mulch, so I use them when I can do both dump and pick up mulch.

ORMI is exactly like St. Louis Composting in valley park. But they are located at Lindbergh and 367 in north county right before you cross the river to the fireworks stands on 367. Fred Weber is on maryland heights on maryland heights expressway right across from harrah's casino.They are the dump you can smell when you drive on 70 west by 270 on the south side of the highway you can see part of it. ORMI charges $8.00 cubic yard which I think is a little steep since they use it to make their compost which they sell and a pickup bed truck is about three cubic yards. so $24.00 dollars a truck full and if you have a trailer full you would have to charge atleast a $90.00 dump fee just to break even on costs sometimes more. In our oppinion you just can't run our type of business very well with this kind of expense. also most people don't want to pay this much either.

Thanks Dunn for the info, sounds like ORMI is a little cheaper than St. Louis compost.

I agree it is expensive, to give them the debris, so they can mulch it and sell it back to us. When you add the cost to the time to get the debris to the dump it gets more expensive than my customers want to pay.

Last month I had a customer from the West End who missed their leaf pick up date and balked at the estimated cost. I just told her now you know what the leaf pick up service is worth.

the best dump i have found is st. peters i dump for free being a resident and if you are commercial its only $20 a ton no matter what it is .

Is that the place that is an indoor dump site? You unload and a loader is right there to clean it up.

well yes for trash but for lawn waste you just pull over to the pile and unload it .
