Saw some Wild Onions

Well, I was spraying a lawn today and noticed the first wild onions that I have seen since spring. Just 2 weeks ago we were setting record highs of 104 degrees. We got 4 inches of rain over a couple of days, and now it has cooled off to the mid 80's. I would have thought it would be at least another month before the winter weeds started growing.

Wild onion is more like a bulb. They go on more of a time between sprouts then temp. Just a guess though. That or they are temp influenced, and with all this wacky weather, they're just confused?!
