Re-Seeding the Lawn

When you guys have a customer on a monthly contract and they want there lawn Re-Seeded and you cut it down low and apply seed for them do you charge extra for this or is this included in your monthly service.Here in Arizona we convert to winter lawns starting in mid october and we apply rye grass seed. If you do charge extra how much.

Plan for it when you price out the contract.

Ok, what would be the average charge for a yearly residential contract such as that per month? One that would include mowing the yard every two weeks and trimming the bushes and do a landscapers trim on the trees as needed ,This is including the front and back yds( small yards here in az)which has about 4 trees and 15 bushes.

Add up all the time you will put in at that property for the year.
Multiply that by the hourly rate you need to do business Add material and divide by 12
That is your monthly charge

Here is south Georgia, most all of my accounts that I have on contract are on a Edge, Trim, Mow and Blow Contract. The monthly price for that customer is just for that. I bill any additional services seperate as the customer asked for them to be done. This includes fertilizing, pre/post emergence, over-seeding, fall/spring cleanups, etc.

Thats another way to do it. We always did total maintenance. We Charged extra for Irrigation repair, (unless we broke it ) Or any upgrades that they ordered. But all maintenance was taken care of.
We sold a package that would let the homeowner always see a manicured property with out ever having to think about it.
