blowers: husqvarna vs. stihl?

My Echo PB413 got stolen and I am looking to replace it with either a Stihl BR550 or a Husqvarna 356BTx. I am slightly tempted to make the price jump and invest in the Redmax 8001, but am concerned about the extra weight. Has anyone out there tried the Husqvarna? Any thoughts and advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

if you go with the stihl, get the br600. it has a lot more power for a little more $. all i run is stihl and have nothing but good things to say about their products.

equipment means nothing without a hard working operator running it.

I dont know that i would have Husky in the running with the other blowers. RedMax and Stihl are phenomenal equipment. (in a different league than husky)

I only run Stihl equipment. I've never taken others for a test drive. But I must say that I love my Stihl. I brag to anyone wanting to listen.
