Mitered corners

When cutting cap and pavers how do you measure for mitered corners, currently I lay one paver/cap over another and mark the cut is there another way or maybe a tool for this purpose?

i use an angle gauge from lowes. i lay the blocks so the they touch on the close end. I then lay the gague on the back of the cap and measure the angle. I then divide by 2 and cut that amount off each block.
