new engine problems
i'm changing from a 15 kohler to the 17 kaw....do i jsut take the electronic stuff off the old one and bolt it on the new one? i noticed there is a plate and wires on the new one but nothing there...it looks like i can take the one off my kohler...what do ya'll think?

I think we need more information. What exactly are you talking about when you say electronic stuff? The only electronic thing on the outside of my Kohler is the voltage regulator. Is this what you are talking about?

Your new Kaw should have, or not need a voltage regulator on it, with our 19 Kaw, there isn't any electrical parts on the outsite besides the regulator, fuel shutoff solenoid, and the oil-pressure sensor. You really need to take a look at an electrical diagram for your mower, and your engine(s) both old and new.
