How long?

do you leave straw over new grass thats been seeded?I got some bald spots i reseeded and its been almost two weeks since i done this.The new grass is coming through.Thanks

Some folks rake up the straw. But while it doesn't have a lot of value, the straw is organic matter and will break down on its own over time. The answer is really up to what you want to do.

The grass will grow up through the straw in any event.

Just mow it! Unless it is too thick, then pick it up.
