Toro stander?

I was at a Toro dealer the other day and he mentioned Toro is wanting to put a stander out. Has anyone heard any talk of this? All my stuff is
Toro now and I hate to go buy Wright Standers this winter.

Wright's patent on the design should be ending soon so we might see a bunch of new Standers. I think the patent is for 7 years.

Patents are in effect for 20 years after date of initial patent application. Wright's patents won't be running out anytime soon.

2009 is the year that comes to mind after reading all of the original BS with the Wright Great Dane lawsuit.

Correct me if I am wrong. But doesn't Deere have one? Why can they manufacture them if others cant? Or am I missing something?

Maybe Toro will catch on...there sales would rocked im sure becouse they have great push mowers, ztrs, walkbehinds, and then hopefully standers...you wouldnt have to change up mowers (ex. run toro and wright)...Hazell how many employees are you runnin with all your eqp...also how many hours you got on the Zs now?
