need a good computer program..............

i'm looking for a good computer program for a pesticide business.one that can not only print out bills, but also print out a legal invoice, that you can edit in all the proper info on the invoice that you can leave on the customer's door telling them what you applied and how long to stay off the turf.and the proper maintance after the application.most importantly the invoice containing theinfo the laws require us to leave with the customer.extra's in the program would be cool too!!and is there anyone else out there from illinois, that actually knows what kinda info you have to by law leave with the customer???

We use service orders with the info the state requires. All our billing is done from the service orders through Quickbooks and scheduling is done through Microsoft Excel. Have been doing it this way for 5.5 years and it works very well.

The industry-specific program CLIP Pro does all the funtions you requested.

At over $3,000 it may not be the program for you, most companies that I know of who use it are very successful.

CLIP

I use clip classic which was ab out $1200.00 I think. Clip has several versions depending on your size and needs. some even link with quickbooks if you use it. Clip rocks for me! No way to forget apps ever again! You can personalize invoices with notes. You print out route sheets that have notes for applicator about each job. They leave an invoice and record all info on route sheet. End of day, you take route sheet and just check yes or no as you read it into clip. If job was done, it posts it and keeps your book, if not, it reschedules it so you dont forget. WWW.CLIP.COM It is worth a look, and they will send you a free demo. good luck! For me, it is definetly the best money I spent in 1999!

Get Rich: For the combination Invoice and Use Report you are looking for, take a look at: www.tigerjill.com.

I have Clip Pro's demo and their programers do not understand the Pesticide Application business.
