Inlet hose diameter
I have done searches on this subject and came up dry so don't even ask. I want to know what is the proper diameter inlet hose for a 8hp giant vac(turning into a trailerloader). The hose will prolly be 8-10 feet long and the exhaust will be 8 inch pvc. I had an old section of 4 inch suction hose and attached it just to see if I could get away with it. Not even close to enough air moving to be productive. Does anyone one else use this small of a setup, if so what size hoze would you use/how much does it cost a foot? Thanks!

6" or 8" should be more then enough for that motor.
