A taxing question

Just getting ready to send in my 2nd quarter taxes....yikes!!!!! My accountant has me sending in 30%. Is this high or are we in the ballpark? Thanks for your input.

I'm pretty close to that percentage myself. So, to answer your question I would say yes.

Remember something, when you work for somebody, they take your social security deduction for you. As a self-employed person, you must pay that yourself, meaning a higher tax bracket.
