I have tried three times to post a thread in the exmark forum. It will not come up.Here is the thread I am trying to post:

Topic: Price Check on Engine?

Let's try this a third time. I tried posting this two other times and nothing has come up.I need a price on a 19hp kaw for lzhp 48. Dealer is saying I might need a new one. Any help?

Your dealer will know the price of the 19 Kaw. exmark will only sell to there dis and then to the dealer. Is an engine what you need??? we have sponsors here for that. look on top of the lawnsite page.

The dealer still has not contacted me yet. When I first took it in, they mentioned that it could be the engine or the clutch. Dealer told me 2 grand just for the engine plus labor on top of that.

I keep forgetting about the sponsor up top due to my firewall blocking them. I will turn my firewall off and get a looksy up there. I did do a web search and found on a kaw site for 1250.

Man that would stink if I got one and turned out it was not that. I will just get prices now, see what the dealer says for suire.

John,

Dealer called me at 11:30 this am and said it was fixed. Turned out to be the clutch. So it cost me about 350

Also Exmark sent me a pm with a kaw phone number for engines too.
