Is it 71"s from the bottom of the handle to the top of the gear box???

Happy New Year!

Hi,
The long trimmer has a 71" drive shaft. So, it is 71" from roughly where the shaft goes into the engine to where the gear box starts.

Will ant dealers have one in Connecticut??? I would like to at least hold one. I can try and make a mock up(ive done before) one to try.

You can call our Master Distributor, Gardner East, and let them know you are interested in a demo. Call Al Pacunas at (800) 521-6535.

Also, it looks like the unit won't be available till the end of April. Sorry about the delay.

Called Al and he had no idea about that model or a demo.Im 6'7" and I would love to try it.

Just saw one today(pre production unit). Its long

And whoever boxed it up should be taken out and shot...LOL. I think they had a few pounds of staples in that box...

Redmax stright shaft Im not sure what model it is its 20 years old and has a different shaft and handle on it now.

If the unit came assembled in the crate, all of the staples were in there due to the trimmer's extra long shaft...they don't fit in regular boxes;so, two must be stapled together.
