If I log on I can go to new posts and I'am counted as a member. If I'am not logged on I must open each fourm separately.I can view. I can't post and I'am counted as a guest.

High spikes of guests mean one of two things.

A. A page here is linked on a high traffic site (like www.fark.com) and a lot of people are stopping by to read it.
B. A search engine is archiving the site.

Its usually B.
