Price Help

Im in need of some advice on how to price this job

1.25 Acre lot,
Bighouse with horse shoe driveway in front.
6 big oak trees
2 ditches across front of property


Lady wants the property cleaned up:
all debris and trash removed,
ditches cleaned and trimmed
Yard-cut,edged,trimmed

Its a mess!

ANy ideas

Yeah I think we would all need a picture or better description of what needs to be done before we would be able to give you some correct pricing.

do not give her a flat rate!

bottom line if ya give her a flat rate she will milk ya i promise do it for 125 an hour an thats for 2 guys with a 10 hour minimum an get her to sign contract upfront.have fun an make some money see ye george

Yeah, for something like that you definitely want to go with an hourly rate. It's very difficult to estimate time on that sort of project, cause chances are something else unexpected will come up. Guaranteed.

I would have to agree with One of Three. Let them know what your plans are for your clean up. Inform them you will keep them up to date on how it is going. They are more time consuming then they may appear. I would charge by the hour. Other situations will appear weather it is small or larger. It is your time and it is valuable.
