Husqvarna 48" Hydro WB - Kawasaki 18hp twin engine - floating deck - very good cond.

After doing the lawn care thing for 8 years now, and being a few months away from graduating college, I have decided to call it quits on my lawn care business. This is my reason for selling my much loved Husqvarna WHF4818 commercial walk behind lawn mower. I want to give some of you guys a chance to make offers on it before I put it up on eBay or Craig's List.

Here are the specifications:

Husqvarna WHF4818 (floading deck walk behind model)
-18hp twin cyclinder Kawasaki engine (electric start)
-Dual hydrostatic motors and pumps
-48" (tripple blade) floating deck - height adjustable in seconds
-Height adjustment in .25" increments (large range of available heights)
-Fully baffled mulching kit (including shute guard)
-Tires are in good condition
-ETS control system, much more comfortable than pistol grips
-New battery
-Mower has been garaged since I have owned it

Additional information:
I have owned this mower for 2 and a half summers, but since I am a college student I have not nearly put this mower to true commercial use. I would estimate it may have one real commercial season's worth of use on it. However, it is about 3 years old, so the stickers have worn there way off. The mower does not currently have any problems (everything works).

I am asking $3,000 for the unit. New, this mower retailed for $5200 (and I think it was worth every penny).

I just had the mower serviced. The oil was changed (new oil and air filters), the blades were sharpened, and the mower was cleaned. I will also include with the mower a few extra oil and air filters I have left over.

Please contact me via a personal message on this forum or call me directly at 405-255-7589. My name is Kyle Trotter. I also have roughly 30 pictures of the mower I can send to you. Thanks all!

Hmmm, $2100 is REALLY cheap for that mower. I might reduce the price some, but I see nowhere on ebay to get a WHF4818 for $3500, that seems unrealistically low for a mower that has a $5200 MSRP. I think I might knock off some tonight when I get back after I have some more time to research it.

The "buy it now" NEW price for THIS model on ebay is $4,599.99 THis is the 18hp model, not the 15hp.

Yes the one that is listed "buy it now" for $2,100 is a good deal.. but is it for real? That's a steal IMO and no one jumpped on it, auction ends in 2 hours.

I think $3,000 may be a *bit* high on this one, but I'm sure he's willing to bargin a couple hundred bucks.

So glad that everyone thinks they have to price someone elses stuff when they have no intrest in it... I'd like to have it, but I'm saving for a Permagreen this spring, and B. I really don't "need" it.

Okay I checked up on several things. The retail value I have seen between $5400 and $5500. The guy on ebay IS, in fact, selling brand new ones for $4600 (which is a really good deal if you want to buy new). However, I do want to sell this mower in a reasonable amount of time so I am going to reduce the price. How do I go back in and edit my post? I can't figure it out! I might knock off $500 bucks and put it at $2500. I can't imagine going lower than that though...
