Corey, after seeing what you have previously done with microsoft word...it looks like you dont know much abot computers and how to use its abilities to ur advantage...no offense or anything..not everyone is a computer genius...

if you are serious about this get your logo designed by someone...it might cost more, but if you are serious about this then i would go the route of having it professionally done

hey not sure if this will help any but there is a website called overnightprints.com... that where i get my business cards and other stuff printed. They are relatively fast...hence the name and reasonably priced. I think I got around 250 business cards for like $30 and they were damn good. Now personaly I use Photoshop to do all of my files and stuff like that so I'm not sure what else is out there but overnightprints.com has some back ground and you can choose how you want to configure you wording with their software (user friendly). I hope this helps you a little or at least gets you in the with cheaply priced professional looking business card.

I work over in Anderson co. I started to advertise last week, I don't do alot because I'm part-time. I bought 500 + 100 free postcards from vistaprint for $50. Sent a couple of hundred out and used the rest to put in gas stations etc. I also sent out 1000 flyers. Had 8 calls this week. 2 for hardscape (I don't do that) 3 for renovations, 3 for service. So far 2 service signed up and I just sent out the renovation bids.

only problem with vista's "FREE" things is that they slap their logo and info on the back of the free cards,flyers etc.

Encheanda i dont recall ever saying my father had what i need to make flyers..... all i have of his that i can use is a copy machine

No. I made that with MS Paint

It just takes time and practice ...you can make anything....just be patient...maybe ask for some help on here ...post what you would like to have in the logo and colors ...design thoughts ...you may find a pro or two who for a small fee will make you something
