I was looking at the Fox. I was wondering how well it would work with the rider attachment. And how it compares to the basic lesco 36. I spoke to a guy at lesco and he told me their 36 is to light for rider attatchment. It sounds like the quick36 is the way to go.

I have a super fox that I had the larger wheels and caster reinforcement struts added from the superduty. My choice was based on not wanting to deal with the electric start on a walk behind. The 13hp works for me allthough you can choke it with the mulch kit if your taking off too much with too much ground speed.
Electric start aside I think that the Samurai is the way to go. -TAZ |

How often are you guys replacing the belts on your quick 36? I have had mine for two years now. It seems as if lately, i have been replacing the belts way more than i should be. Last year when i got the mower, I don't remember replacing a belt once. I am kinda disapointed because they seem to break to often. Also at what speed are you guys engaging/disengaging the blades on your quick 36? I try and do it at the lowest speed possible. Just wondering, because i already replaced the clutch on the mower too. Thanks

I have the Super Fox with the Step Saver attachment. I purchased the mower for home use only. If I was using it commercially, I would have opted for the Super Duty or Samurai. It was hard for me to justify spending additional money for the other models and the Super Fox runs great and I have had no issues, so far. The models are so close in design, it really comes down to if you really need the extra horse power. Of course, everyone thinks it's always about horse power, so you really need to look at your application.
