I just hate the fact the price of gas is now 3.19 a gallon Oh well, time for the ye olde gas surcharge here soon. Hey it is my youngest son's first birthday today!! Wow did it ever go fast!!

Yeah, I was doing my usual surfing on plowsite, just not much going on over there. Me and the family have been doing fine. We went to Squire's castle a few times with the kids so they could play, and other than that , just a little relaxing now. How have you been?? Thanks, I like the side rails. They work good for me. Yes, we will for sure have to get together and have lunch or dinner!!!! I want to see the new Harley!!

I was out riding today. Me and Renee are going with a bunch of friends to the louie run this sunday at the fair gounds. It is really addicting. I want to ride every day. We took the kids to cast away bay a few weekends back the kids had a blast. I wasn't very impressed Steve

Have not really been apart of this topic but heck i'm from Ohio so I should be right?! I was down to Columbus yesterday for the FFA Convention and when I saw this I thought I would ask something. Has anyone on here been in the FFA and won the in state with Turf Grass Management SAE or similar to it? I placed fourth in state with my mowing buisiness in agri-entrapeneurship. First year applying for it and I hope to apply for the Turf Grass Management one next year.

Out of commission...

Hey guys! How has everyone been doing? I have posted in a while but figured that I should stop in and say what happened to me today. It was pretty cloudy this morning and the meteoroligist were calling for some rain. I figured that I would do a little truck maintenance. I had the front passenger side jacked up and the wheel removed to replace a broken wheel stud. As I was hitting the stud with a hammer, the truck came off of the jack and the wheel well came down on my knee and I heard a "POP" . It was my ankle. Needless to say, it is broke and I will be unable to mow for quite a while. I am so lucky that I have a great father that just loves to mow. He is going to take care of the business while I am down. Let this be a lesson to all. Do averything and anything you do the safest that you can.

I'm sorry to hear that...especially now if you are as behind as everyone else seams to be. You can never be too safe these days.

OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is the whole reason why I use jackstands and never, never put any part of my body if possible under the vehicle when it is raised like that. I am very sorry to hear that and you only broke your ankle. It could have been alot worse!!!! Thats cool that your dad is willing to jump in there and run things for you while that heals. How long are you gonna be down for??
