Too cold to mow?

Our temps. are going to be in the low 40s the next few days. Is that too cold to mow? With Easter coming up I think they want the yard to look nice.

Thanks

It is supposed to get pretty cold here also.
I will be cutting all of mine, have them looking good for the easter bunny.....
The only problems you will have is if there is frost on the lawn. You will need to wait until the frost melts off or you will burn that have frost on them with the tires of your mower, and the places where your tire tracks are will be brown...

How much does the cold weather slow the growth down? We were up into the 70's and 80's the last couple weeks, but into the 20's at night for the last couple days.

So can we mow in the afternoon when its 35 degrees without snow or frost or will it harm the lawn?

Yeah talk about a shock it was 77 when we were working on Tuesday and then the next day it was 34. It shouldn't hurt the grass or slow it down much as long as day time temps stay in the mid 40s. I still have alot of yards that still need to be mowed tomorrow for Easter weekend.
