Just got done meeting with my insurance agent for this years quote..scary. I only do lawn care part time because of a full time construction job. I do every thing legal as far as I know. I pay insurance for my equipment, truck and van. I have liability insurance, I pay taxes on my earnings. I take my pesticide course on Monday, the exam is in a couple of weeks. Even though I only do this part time my costs are the same as if I was doing it, hopefully next year it will be full time. I have been working on getting everything in order before I take the big leap, I have been at my present job for almost 15 years now. Just wanted to say that not all of us part timers are low ballers or black market guys.
