Echo SRM-2601

I was told that for brushcutting I should a steel drive shaft. It isn't very heavy brush cutting so....<br>Do you think an Echo 25.4cc w/ a cable shaft and a blade attached on the trimmer would do the job?????????? Or is it a steel drive shaft???? How do you guys like it?????<br>

I purchased two 2601's last season. They are VERY cold natured. Once they warm up they have great power. Very rarely do I use a blade on a trimmer. When I do I have a 3100.

2601 will do it with a blade 2601 has good power and it is light.
