The easiest way to solve a Dollar weed problem is to cut back water to the effected area. That is likely the cause of the infestation.

If chemical app is needed, Atrazine is labeled for Dollarweed. If you use Trimec, look into a Gordon's product with low 2,4D. If you don't you can absolutely f up a nice stand of St. Augustine.
