Thanks everyone,<br>I looked the other day and I found no one, and I mean no one has red max for sale around here. I don't mind that much because I looked into echo a little more and will probably get a blower and a trimmer from them. They are very available around here. <br>I was told that for brushcutting I should a steel drive shaft. It isn't very heavy brush cutting so....<br>Do you think an Echo 26cc w/ a cable shaft and a blade attached on the trimmer would do the job??????????<br>

Everyone I am a Red Max dealer in CA. Parts has been a terrible issue in this state and many good dealers have dropped the line due to this problem. Every dealer in the state has complained about the parts and their prices are even worse. Yes they make a quality engine and engine parts are easy to come by. Difficult parts to get are gearbox and shafts etc. I like their engine and have no fault with them. It is every other thing around it. Landscapers on the east coast may have it a little better since parts come from Atlanta.
