Block Adhesive

I know this is going to seem like a silly topic.

But this has been on my mind for a while.

We buy our block adhesive in 29 oz tubes. I am not certain, but I believe the brand we buy is 'PL'.

We pay $5.95 / tube.

But another supplier sells a different brand (29 oz tubes), and they sell it for somewhere around $17 / tube!

To this day we have NEVER had any problems with any of the brands of block adhesive we have used. As long as the block is clean and dry when the glue is applied, they all seem to work well.

I am curious what you folks are payin for adhesive.

I use the gator xxx glue. I find it superior to PL, but costs a bit more. I buy it by the case so not sure how much per tube (or case for that matter)Permacon sells there stuff for 15 bucks (large tube). They say it is gator xxx packaged under their name. Looks like PL to me.

I agree with everything Champion said. Same price and sticks to frozen/wet block. At the end of the year I have an open tube and can still use it in the spring.
