Need for Center Roller on Decks.
I have noticed that some manufacturers of 44 inch to 50 inch decks have a center guide rollers on their decks while others do not. For instance, the Scagg Tiger cub does not, but the Scagg Freedom Z, Exmark, Dixie Chopper, Gravely, and Hustler do. Is the need for the center guide roller for those operators that need to mow at lower heights or is it due to deck design?
