I usually carry around tinted safety glasses, a set of ear plugs on a band, ear muffs, leather work gloves and mechanics gloves (for use on hot days). Sometimes I use a face shield for heavy string trimming.

If your just doing the mow, trim and blow thing and some lite cleanups all you will need is safety glasses, hearing protection, leather gloves, and good work boots.

ADD baby wipes and a ball bat and you have it.

Make sure your first aid kid has something to rinse your eyes with. If not carry around a big thing of water (which you should have to keep you hydrated anyway) Never know when you might get gas or some other chemical in your eyes.
